WOW what a place to hang arround and take pictures. these old and dignified building has so much to tell. thick walls and high windows. selective light and phenomenal acoustics. it takes some time to cool down from the daily stress in work and you have to open yourself to get the feehling for this place. but when you get the feeling……. it showes you phantasic corners and views!!!
I look forward on the shooting and the night to spend in the convent. –> see the other shots!

a house of a colleague of mine. the house originally was built decades ago… now he refurbished it and applied his office on and behind the garage… the new facades and the new areas are all made of wood…

bei der Schlacht um die Ortenburg… die hügel rund um die ruine sind der schauplatz der nachgestellten schlacht um die Ortenburg. ritter – gaukler und alles was dazu gehört! das panorama ins drautal ist zudem noch eine reise wert. war da und clickte was das zeug hält. großartig!! —> zur slideshow!
Bellum Viritim – Battle around Ortenburg Castle! a beautiful area above the ruin, meadows and hills with a nice view at the city of Spital, the valley of the river Drau and the breathtaking mountain panorama becomes the third time coulisse for the “Battle around Ortenburg” from the 1st till 3rd of May 2009. been there and shooted that!!! what a great event!! —> the slideshow!

my first photowalk in villach… just about 30 min. away from the place I live. fixed focal length and only one lens on the cam…. two hours of time and meeting new flickr buddies…… now thats an afternoon… —->more pictures!
