Lovat"
not a regular Lovat but very close to the classic shape. the block was a bit small but perfect for me and I had to use a shape that would look cute with cross-grain pattern. now I do not think that too small pipes smoke very good but in this case I think that the longer shank with Briar could cool down the smoke a bit to make this Lovat a good smoking pipe. the pipe is extremely light in weight. I haven't smoked it by now and I do not have it in my collection at the moment. why ?? because I sent it to the P&T pipe carving contest among with 4 others. I look forward how this one looks to others aswell. lets see...... |
