This is one of Peter's special or let' say better typical forms. A longer shank flat on the upper side and a curved bowltop. The bowlshape is close to a pot shape but has more dynamic aspects in it. The grain is perfect on both sides of the bowl and shank. This pipe is more on the medium to smal side IMO. About a 2 in the Dunhill range. I broke it in with Virginia flakes and i will stick to flakes with this pipe. IMO this shape siutes best for Flakes and Curly's. Though it has no big bowl i smoke about an hour with Escudo in it ! cute pipe arn't it ??
