"Matzhold assymetric
freehand".
This is my newest Matzhold pipe. I waited a long time to get one of this special shape from Peter. It is for sure a very unique pipe and a shape Peter is famous for. Only very very few Briar blocks can be used to bring out a pipe like this. The bigger left side is couvered all over with sensational birdeyes and the Grain on the bottom side is super beautifull too ! I love the sharp cut of the birdeys and straight grain sections of this shape. When you look at the top of the pipe I always wonder how cool looking this pipe is. This pipe is a very good definition of how crossgrain could look :-) Can you emagine my smile as i left Peters workshop with this pipe in my mouth ! The lines of this one are a work of art and it for sure will be a highlight of my whole collection. Nothing more to say - A lucky Martin !
