"Tom Eltang's
Horn". my X-Mas present for the year 2002 ! I know it isn't the 24th by now
(when I write these lines) but you will understand that I have had no change to
wait any longer before I present this pipe to the public. The idea was that I needed a present for myself this year ! and I thought about a pipe to reward myself for all the work I have done this year :-) well I was brave and so I talked with Tanja about what the hell would be suitable for me. if a pipe she said it only could be an Eltang for sure.....okay so I called Tom and told him what kind of pipe I would like to have in my rotation. After some more calls and chats he knew enough and told me that if the right block showes up he would tell me if the pipe will be something for me. as I looked at the very first pictures from the pipe my decission was clear.......this is the ONE for X-mas !! the horn is graded "star" and has wunderful grain and birdeyes all over and over. the mouthpiece is made so well that you can turn it 180 degrees and the pipe then get one more look !! well anything else could be seen on the picture except the smoking qualities...hmmmm....I'll tell you some day !
